How to recover captures after a failed upload (Mac)
If an upload fails in the Gyazo Mac app, your capture data may still be saved in the app's cache folder.
Please follow these steps to access the folder and retrieve your files.
How to access:
Open Finder.
From the menu bar at the top of the screen, select Go > Go to Folder... (or press
Command + Shift + G ). Enter one of the following paths and click Go.
Folder Paths:
Gyazo (Images):
~/Library/Caches/com.gyazo.mac/Captures Gyazo Video:
~/Library/Caches/com.gyazo.gif/Videos Gyazo Teams (Images):
~/Library/Caches/com.gyazo.mac.teams/Captures Gyazo Teams Video:
~/Library/Caches/com.gyazo.gif.teams/Videos ⚠️ Note:
Files in the cache folder may be automatically deleted by the system or the app. If you find the file you need, please copy it to a safe location (like your Desktop or Documents folder) immediately.
