Cannot log in to Gyazo Teams with SSO after a domain change
To use Gyazo Teams, a Gyazo Teams account (paid account) is required.
If SSO login stops working after a Google Workspace domain or company email address change, the domain migration can be completed from Gyazo Teams when at least one team admin still has an active session under the previous domain.
Requirements for self-service migration
The migration can be completed without contacting Gyazo Support when both of the following requirements are met:
At least one team admin is still signed in to Gyazo Teams under the previous domain.
The old and new domains belong to the same Google Workspace organization, such as when the primary domain is changed, or the local part of each member's email address remains unchanged.
The local part is the section before the "@" symbol. For example, the local part remains the same when
member@olddomain.com changes to member@newdomain.com .Change the SSO domain
Complete the following steps from an admin account with an active session under the previous domain.
1. Open the Team settings page.
2. Click "Change domain" near the SSO settings.
The Google authentication screen opens.
3. On the Google authentication screen, select an admin account from the new domain.
The sign-in screen for the selected account appears.
4. Sign in and complete the Google authentication process.
After authentication, the SSO domain and the domain portion of each team member's registered email address are updated.
Team members can then use their new email addresses for SSO login.
Contact Gyazo Support
Manual support is required in the following cases:
No team admin has an active session under the previous domain.
The old and new domains belong to different Google Workspace organizations, and the local parts of the members' email addresses have also changed.
Only some members are moving to another domain, and multiple SSO domains need to remain in use.
For assistance, contact us.
Notes
This procedure changes the Google Workspace domain used for SSO.
It does not change the Gyazo Teams team URL or subdomain.
For information about changing the team URL, see Change the Gyazo Teams Subdomain.
