How to prevent Snipping Tool from opening with Gyazo when pressing Print Screen
This article is for Windows user.
In Gyazo and Gyazo Teams for Windows, pressing the PrintScreen key may open both Gyazo's area selection screen and Snipping Tool or another Windows screen capture tool.
To launch only Gyazo with the PrintScreen key, turn off the Windows PrintScreen key setting.
For the Gyazo setting that launches capture with the PrintScreen key, see Launch Gyazo with the PrintScreen key.
How to turn off the Windows setting
1. Open Windows "Settings".
2. Click "Bluetooth & devices".
3. Click "Keyboard".
4. Turn off "Use the Print screen key to open screen capture".
After changing the setting, press the PrintScreen key and check whether only Gyazo launches.
If the setting cannot be found
The location and label of this setting may vary depending on the Windows version.
If "Keyboard" or the PrintScreen key setting cannot be found under "Bluetooth & devices", search for "PrintScreen" or "screen capture" in Windows "Settings".
The same setting may also appear under "Accessibility" > "Keyboard".
Notes
Turning off "Use the Print screen key to open screen capture" stops Windows screen capture from opening with the PrintScreen key.
To open Windows screen capture after this setting is turned off, use another Windows shortcut such as "Windows" key + "Shift" + "S".
This Windows setting does not change the Gyazo PrintScreen key setting.
