Use Quick Mode and Studio Mode in Gyazo for Mac
This feature is only for Mac.
On Mac, Gyazo lets you choose between Quick Mode and Studio Mode for both screenshots and videos.
Use Quick Mode when speed matters, or Studio Mode when you want to fine-tune the capture area first.
Quick Mode: Captures or recording starts as soon as you select an area.
Studio Mode: You can adjust the position and size of the selection before capturing or recording.
What you can do in Studio Mode
In Studio Mode, you can move and resize the selection, enter its width and height, or lock it to an aspect ratio.
Available aspect ratios are "Free", "1:1", "4:3", "3:2", "16:9", and "9:16".
Use the arrow keys to move the selection by 1 px, or Shift + arrow keys to move it by 10 px.
Press Esc to cancel the capture.
For screenshots, you can keep the same capture area while interacting with the app behind it, making it useful for taking a series of screenshots with consistent framing.
Choose the default capture mode
In Gyazo Menu "Settings", you can set "Default Still Capture Mode" and "Default Video Capture Mode" separately.
To temporarily use the other mode, open the "…" icon next to "Take screenshot" or "Record video", then select "Capture in Studio Mode" or "Capture Window" (Quick Mode).
This doesn't change your default setting.
