Supported operating systems and web browsers
Gyazo is available for the following devices and web browsers. Some features are limited to specific platforms.
Supported Operating Systems for Gyazo application
Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 7
macOS
macOS:OS X 11.0 (Big Sur) or later
iOS ( iPhone )
Android OS
We do not officially support other operating systems and older versions but you may still use these versions of Gyazo.
Unsupported Operating Systems for Gyazo application
Chrome OS
We don't support Gyazo application for Chrome OS, but you can use the Chrome extension.
Supported web browsers
* If you are using an older version of the browser, please upgrade it to the Latest Stable Release.
* For Safari, Latest Stable Release version is supported too, not the version included with each OS.
* If the version of MacOS is old, the version of Safari that can be updated is limited, but the latest version may be available for Google Chrome etc.
* We do not officially support Internet Explorer or any other browsers.
On Windows, we recommend Google Chrome for maximum compatiblity and support.
Though not officially supported, other browsers based on the Chromium project should work such as Brave and Opera.
Risks and Limitations of Unsupported Environments
If you are using an operating environment (OS, browser, etc.) that falls outside of the supported range, the Gyazo application may still continue to function. However, please be aware of the following potential issues:
Bugs and Errors: We cannot guarantee the stability of the application. If bugs or errors occur due to system specification changes, we will be unable to provide fixes or support.
Security Risk: You may be operating the application without security patches for vulnerabilities addressed in newer system versions.
Display Issues: You may encounter "unsupported browser" warning messages during browser-related functions.
We strongly recommend that you always update to a supported environment to ensure full compatibility, stability, and data protection.
If you must use unsupported OS or browsers, please do so at your own risk.
